The school is affiliated to Central Board Of Secondary Education, (CBSE), New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English. MONTESSORI METHOD APPROACH IN PRE-PRIMARY SECTION:

 We must help the child to liberate himself from his defects without making him feel his weakness - Dr. Maria Montessori


The Montessori approach was designed to help children grow by letting them explore the World around them. Classrooms are called "prepared environments" where children's innate zeal for learning is encouraged allowing them opportunities to choose among an array of purposeful activities to work on with the guidance of a trained adults. Early child hood is our special concern and we place a great importance in child’s learning environment. Our entrance lobby with colourful displays assures the children as this is a place of fun, interest and teachers will take care of them. We follow Montessori Method where children enjoy their time, feel happy and secured under the table hand of qualified, well trained and compassionate teachers.

A well researched activity based curriculum followed provides a rich and stimulating environment where a child’s individual brilliance and competence is nurtured not only for oneself but also with a social dimension. From Montessori upwards, at every stage, the student is ably guided on his/ her journey of discovery, exploration, enquiry and experimentation. The main focus is given on developing the multiple intelligence and skills amongst the students for meeting today’s needs. The Montessori method develops the whole personality of the child, not merely his intellectual facilities, but also to become a self-directed, self disciplined person.


PRIMARY SECTION:

We at Capitol Public School adopted Innovative Learning Curriculum for classes I and II which believes in the principle of learning by doing.
It ensures true learning by experience in children which in turn gives them a strong foundation for life. This curriculum is a dynamic process that integrates an individuals and their environment. It also develops a sense of identity amongst children.

SECONDARY AND SENIOR SECONDARY SECTIONS:

Capitol Public School provides the following curriculum at the Secondary School level CBSE VI - At the secondary school level, from grade VI . The Second Language for all the classes is Hindi / Kannada. The third language we offer upto class VIII i.e. Kannada /  Hindi  / Sanskrit. Capitol Public School prepares a batch of students for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) administered by the CBSE on completion of Class X.

In particular, the Secondary school curriculum is designed to:
